US Department of Agriculture Woody Biomass Grants

The U.S. Department of Agriculture requests proposals for Woody Biomass Grants, for forest product projects that increase the use of woody biomass from National Forest System lands. These funds are targeted to help communities, entrepreneurs, and others turn residues from forest restoration activities into marketable forest products and/or energy products.

2007 Funds Available:

up to 20 awards anticipated with a total combined value of $4.5 million.
